SSLC Full Form – The Full Form of SSLC is the Secondary School Leaving Certificate, and it is a certificate obtained by students after the completion of their secondary schooling in India, or after completing their Secondary School Certificate Examinations or Board Examinations. These are used throughout the schools in India and serve as proof that a student’s schooling has come to an end. For CBSE, CISCE, and several of the state boards, this is commonly called the leaving certificate obtained after completion of their class 10th board examinations. This can be used as a proof of identity in India and is often required while getting a passport, admission to a University, and sometimes in job interviews.

The certificate is equivalent to most secondary school certificates worldwide, however, to get the equivalent of high school education, they must complete their 10+2 to obtain a PUC, or complete a diploma course. As per the Indian standards of education, completing an SSC and obtaining the SSLC does make students eligible to officially work in places that would hire them.

For most people, this is the way that they are able to attend various industrial training schools in India or even apply for education abroad in high schools. This can help them get trained in the fields they prefer instead of simply following the herd, and thereby develop technical education early on which would make them extremely valuable for the workforce. The SSLC is thereby the most important certificates a school student can obtain in India.
