The Full Form of IIBF
IIBF Full Form – The Full Form of IIBF in banking terms is the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, which was founded in 1928 and is headquartered at Kurla West, Mumbai. The IIBF is a company registered with the Government of India and is well recognized for imparting knowledge in the banking finance sector. The IIBF is the largest institute which has membership with 700 banking and financial institutions and promotes academic courses like JAIIB (Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers), CAIIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers), and DBF (PG Diploma in Banking and Finance).
The IIBF was formed in 1928 in compliance with the rules and regulations of the London Institute of Bankers, which recommended conducting the Associate examinations in 1929. The Associate examination was a two-part examination, in which out of 89 candidates only one managed to pass. The IIBF provides students comprehensive and exhaustive distance learning academic programs like Diploma in Banking & Technology, Treasury Investment & Risk Management, Micro Finance Professionals, Advanced Wealth Management, and several other certification courses.
IIBF has maintained the International Standards for which it has been timely accredited with a top rating from renowned certification agencies. IIBF is managed by a governing council which comprises a Chief Executive Officer, Deputy CEO, and Directors, this council also consists of members from the foreign, public, and private sector banks. The IIBF has an Education and Research committee that consists of eminent practitioners from the field of Banking and Finance.
