The AIBTCET is perfectly known as the All India Biotechnology Common Entrance Test. The DPU AIBTCET Application Form has been released. Those students are wishing to get admission in B.Tech Biotechnology, & M.Tech (Integrated) Biotechnology Program, B.Tech Medical Biotechnology can apply in this test by filling the application form and the steps of filling the application form given below:

• First of all, students should have to go on the official webpage of Dr. DY Patil University, Pune.
• Students have to click on the link of Apply Now and fill all the required details to get LoginID along with the password on their email id.
• The students have to use their login email & password to fill the application form with all the correct and complete details.
• They should have to upload their scanned required documents in the application form & make the payment of application fee.
• After paying the application fee, Students have to submit the application form and also take the print out of it for further use.

• Foreign and Indian National students are eligible to apply.
• Students must have passed tenth and 10+2 classes in the medical stream or its equivalent from a recognized university or board with the compulsory subjects Chemistry, Physics and Life Sciences/ Biology (desirably Mathematics) & have to secure a minimum of 45%.
• Students who are appearing in the final year of the Qualifying test can apply for DPU AIBTCET 2020.
• Students’ age should be seventeen years of age to apply.

DPU AIBTCET 2020 Syllabus

The students must have to prefer syllabus of Physics, and Biology, Chemistry, for the preparation of examination & the syllabus are:

• Physics: There is a total of 25 questions will be asked from this syllabus and students need to identify important topics as questions are framed to test students’ understanding of basic concepts. Every correct answer will be rewarded one score.
• Chemistry: There are only 25 questions that will be asked to test students’ knowledge of different concepts and topics in Chemistry. It is relatively stiff to identify important topics in Chemistry as all the headers appear important.
• Biology ( Zoology and Botany): There are 50 questions from this syllabus and the anatomy & physiology of plants and animals are interesting. The questions will be about identifying the phylum, genre of plants & animals.

DPU AIBTCET Admit Card 2020

• Admit Card for DPU All India Biotechnology Common Entrance Test (AIBTCET) 2020 will be available for download on the official website two weeks before the date of examination. Students can also use the link that will be provided below to download the Admit card. Students may please note that admits cards will not be sent by post.

DPU AIBTCET 2020 Result

• Those students have appeared in this entrance examination. They can check their name mentioned in the merit list and they will be shortlisted in the merit list on the basis of total score obtained by them in Physics, Botany, Chemistry, & Zoology taken together. students shortlisted in the merit list will call out for counseling procedures.

DPU AIBTCET 2020 Counseling

Students shortlisted in the merit list are required to clear for AIBTCET 2020 Counselling in order of their ranks. The counseling session will be held in the month of July 2020. Only those students who satisfy the eligibility norms as laid down by the DPU & selected on the basis of merit can attend this session. Some important guidelines regarding the admission process given below:

• The counseling session will be conducted at the Dr. D. Y Patil Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Institute, Pune, Tathawade,
• Counseling sessions managed according to the AIRs secured in the merit list. The number of rounds will vary according to the list of shortlisted students.
• Students must ensure that they attend the counseling as per the schedule published on the official website. Failure to report on the specified day and date will lead to the cancellation of the student’s claim to the seat.
• Only the students and one guardian/ parent will be allowed to attend the AIBTCET 2020 Counselling. If due to unavoidable circumstances a student cannot attend the session, he may send a representative along with a duly signed Letter of Authorization & necessary documents.
• Students must carry the requisite documents to take part in the counseling procedure.
• All the selected students are required to submit the affidavit in the format given on the DPU website & need to pay the entire amount of annual fees and eligibility fees. The fees are to be remitted via a demand draft of a nationalized bank issued in favor of ‘Director, Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute’, payable at Pune. The fees must be paid at the time of the on-the-spot admission process otherwise the students will lose his seat.
• A waiting list will also be prepared by the DPU. Seats will be allocated from this list after allocating seats to all the students from the main list.
