AFCAT 2021 Air Force Common Admission Test
AFCAT 2021 – The Air Force Common Admission Test is commonly called AFCAT. The AFCAT is an entrance exam for the students who want to join Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officer in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) & Ground Duty (Non-Technical). The entrance test is conducted by Indian Air Force twice a year in the month of February and August/September. The advertisement in this regard will be published in the month of June & December. AFCAT 2021 Application Form
Online registrations for AFCAT are available. The application fees for the test is Rs 250 which can be paid online through debit card/ credit card/net banking. Aadhaar Card is mandatory to fill the AFCAT application form. The application process involves the following steps:

Documents required to fill AFCAT Application 2021
Students should keep the following documents ready for AFCAT to apply online only.

- Marksheets of Class 12 and graduation/diploma/Integrated Post Graduation

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 2021
In order to apply for the AFCAT test, students must be aware of the eligibility criteria:
- Both females and males can apply for this test.
- The students must be citizens of India.
- 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1998 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e., born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive). The age limit is 20 to 26 years as on one January 2021 i.e., born from 02 July 1994 to 01 Jun 2000 (both dates involve).
- Students must be a graduate with any degree with at least 60% marks in graduation. He must have scored 60% passed Maths, physics in class 12th.
- Students must be either clear or qualified for a 4-year degree & having done Sections A & B Examination of Associate Membership of the Indian Institute of Engineers & Aeronautical Society with a minimum of 60%.
- Students must be B. Com. Graduate with a minimum of 60%score. For education officer posts, the students should have MBA/MCA or M.A./M.Sc. Degree in physics/English/International Studies/Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/International Relations/Defence. Studies/Psychology/Computer Science/IT/Management/Journalism/Public Relations/Mass Communication with a minimum of 50% score & has scored a minimum of 60% score in graduation.
AFCAT 2021 Exam Pattern
- Time Duration: 2 hours.
- Total Questions: 100.
- Total Marks: Each question will 3 scores.
- Negative Marking: Each wrong answer 1 score will be deducted.
- Mode of Exam: Online Mode.
AFCAT Syllabus 2021
- English: error detection, filling in of correct word/sentence completion, synonyms, idioms antonyms, vocabulary, and phrases, Comprehension,
- General Awareness: history, politics, geography, current affairs, environment, defense, art, culture, sports, basic science, etc.
- Numerical Ability: Time & word, average, percentage, ratio, simple interest and proportion, profit, and loss, decimal fraction, time and distance(train, boat, and stream).
- Military aptitude test and Reasoning: verbal skills and Spatial ability.

AFCAT 2021 Admit Card
- The admit card for the AFCAT 2021 has been available on 5th February, 2021. Students can download the admit card after login into the official website and the admit card of AFCAT 2021 will also be sent to the personal e-mail address of the students. The AFCAT 2021 admit card contains the student’s details including the student’s name, E-mail address, Father’s name the address of the examination center, Roll Number & Date/ Time of the AFCAT examination. While checking the AFCAT 2021 admit card, students must verify all the details mentioned in the admit card involve their Name and Address, etc.
AFCAT 2021 Result
- Indian Air Force available the AFCAT 2021 result at the official result at afcat.cdac.in. AFCAT result 2021 will be released for all the students at ‘students login’. To check results, students have to log in to the students portal & enter their email address & password. The AFCAT result is based on the score secured by students in the AFCAT online examination. After the announcement of the AFCAT result, students are called for future r rounds of the selection process conducted by AFSB.
AFCAT Counseling 2021

Procedure to appear in AFCAT counseling:
- students have to confirm its ranking depend on merit list than have to confirm the counseling date from the official website of AFCAT Counseling.
- students have to decide its choice of course before he wishes to appear for AFCAT counseling, but based on its ranking she/he may get the course of his choice.
Documents Required while counseling for AFCAT:
Students must know about the required documents required to bring while appearing for AFCAT Counseling:
- Original counseling letter carries with a photocopy of counseling letter
- Original Admit card along with a photocopy of admit card
- Bank draft has to be prepared as per the guidelines given on AFCAT prospect
- All the original and at least two photocopies of certificates of 10th and 12th class
- Hall Ticket/Rank Card
- Scorecard (if applicable)
- Original degree/provisional certificate if students are appearing
- Community certificate(ST/SC/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority
- Medical documents mentioned on AFCAT application form
- 4-6 Passport size photographs color black white and black.
