NEST 2021 Notification

NEST 2021 NISER Application Form to be released in the first week of January 2021. In the term of National Entrance Screening Test passing which is the dream of many. NISER and UM-DAE-CEBS, Bhubaneswar. Mumbai Jointly Conduct this Exam. The National Entrance Screening Exam is conducted on the national level to apply for M.Sc. Program in Basic Sciences subjects is named as Biology and Mathematics Chemistry Physics, Physics.

The responsibility of the exam comes under the National Institute of Science Education and Mumbai University and Research Bhubaneswar the Department of the Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences. A national entrance screening test conducted every year to offer admission into 5 years of Integrated M.Sc programs in Biological, Chemical, Physical sciences, and Mathematical.

NEST 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria students  for the NEST exam is as follows given below :

Qualification: Candidates must qualify class 12th from any recognized board and university.

Mandatory Subjects: A combination of at least 3 subjects for the students Physics, Mathematics or Biology, Chemistry, will be compulsory for candidates.

Percentage: Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60% (55% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying test.

Age Limit: Students born or after 1st August 2000.

Age Relaxation: Relaxation of 5 years will be given to reserved category students

Appearing: Students appearing in the qualifying exams in the year 2021. They are will be also eligible for this exam.

NEST Application  Form 2021

Students must go through following details of NEST application form:

  • NEST 2021 application form can be filled online mode only.
  • Students are able to register from 8th January 2021.
  • The last date for NEST 2021 registration date  3rd April 2021.
  • Students have to provide all the required educational details & personal.
  • Students to upload a recent passport size photographs with white background as specified size.
  • Students also have to upload a scanned image and signature.
  • A 10th class certificate and mark sheet will also be required.
  • An incomplete application form will not be accepted.
  • Students must take a print out of the application form to be further use.

Application Fee: The application fee is given in the table given below.

  • The fee for OBC and general students is Rs.1200/-
  • Female students and reserved category students will have to submit Rs.600/-
  • NEST 2021 Application fee will be through online mode.
  • Students will be paid only debit cards and credit cards.

NEST Exam Pattern

NEST 2021 to based in computer-based mode for a duration of three hours & thirty minutes. The NEST exam divided into five sections with MCQs. Negative marking is applicable for a given in a table below:

NEST 2021 Admit Card

The NEST admit card to be download from 24th April 2021. Candidates have to download the admit card to be online mode only. For download card the admit card, students have to enter User Id & Password. In an examination hall, students must bring their admit card along with photo id proof for verification.

NEST 2021 Result & Counselling

The NEST Exam will be released on 16 June 2021. Students have to enter User id & Password to check the result and download. Students qualifying the entrance exam with minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted in the merit list and called for the counseling process. Students have to all score 90 out of 180 marks.
