JEE Main April 2021 Notification

JEE Main April 2021 – Joint Entrance (JEE) is a national level examination for students to qualify to pursue an engineering degree at the undergraduate level. The admit card of JEE Main 2021 will be released by NTA From March 16, 2021. JEE Main April 2021 exam is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG engineering degree programs. NTA will open the online registration from February 7 to March 2021 tentatively. JEE Main is been conducted by NTA From January 6 to 11, 2021 tentatively. Exam in all days will be held in the morning and evening shift at 255 test centers in India and 9 abroad. JEE MAIN for January session is being conducted from 6 to 9 online mode two shifts. The first shift is conducted from 9:30 to 12:30 pm while the second will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released exam Dates of both January and April sessions of JEE Main 2021. The Exam authorities will release exam dates of both January and April sessions of JEE main 2021. The JEE Main 2021 for April session will be conducted from April 3 to 9 for paper 1 & paper of JEE Main exam will be conducted in computer-based mode except for the drawing part of JEE Main paper 2 which will be conducted in paper and pencil.

JEE Main April 2021 Application Form

The application form of JEE Main April 2021 will be available from February 7 to March 7. Candidates have to register yourself for the April examination even if you have appeared for the January examination Candidates will have to apply for the entrance examination in online mode only by accessing the official website. JEE Main April 2021 Syllabus

The syllabus for JEE main April 2021 remains the same as JEE Main January 2021.

Mathematics: Relations, sets, and Functions, Quadratic Equations and Complex Numbers, Determinants and Matrices, combinations and permutations, Mathematical Induction, Series and Sequences, Binomial Theorem and its simple applications, Continuity, Limit, Differentiability, Integral calculus, Coordination Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Mathematical Reasoning.

 Physics: Measurement and physics, kinematics, Laws of Motion, Energy, and power, work, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, properties of solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of gases, Waves and Oscillations, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetism and Magnetic Effect of current, Alternating current and Electromagnetic Induction, Electromagnetics waves, Radiation and Dual Nature of Matter, Nuclei and ATOMS, Electronic Devices, Communication systems.

Chemistry(Physical): Some basic concepts in chemistry, States of Matter, Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry and Redox Reactions, Surface chemistry, chemical kinetics, Atomic structure, Molecular Structure, and Chemical Bonding.

Chemistry(Inorganic): Classification of Elements and periodicity in Properties, General Principles and process of isolation of metals, Hydrogen,s-block elements,p-block elements,d and f-block elements, Coordination Compounds, Environmental Chemistry, Hydrocarbons.

Chemistry (organic): Characterization of organic compound and purification, Some basic principles of Organic chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic compounds containing, Nitrogen, oxygen, Halogen, polymers, Chemistry in Everyday life, Biomolecules, principles related to practical chemistry.

Exam Pattern of JEE Main April Examination 2021

NTA will not be changing the exam pattern, it will be the same.

The candidates will be given a choice in the medium of the questions papers. The medium of the question papers. The medium of examination in all test centers will be English and Hindi medium, for center Cities in Daman, Gujarat & Dadra and Diu and Nagar Haveli. The Questions will be available in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.

Eligibility criteria of JEE Main April 2021

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2021 on September 3 in the official brochure. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility details. The eligibility criteria consist of important details include educational, qualification, age limit, nationality, subjects in class 12/10+2 or equivalent and other mandatory details. Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main 2021 Eligibility Criteria before applying for the entrance test. The candidature will be rejected criteria can apply for the entrance examination. JEE Main 2021 January attempt will be conducted from January 6 to 11 in complete online mode. JEE Main result 2021 will be announced on January 31.

Educational Qualification
  • She/He must have passed in class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021 or appearing in the academic year 2021.
No. of subjects in Qualifying Exam
  • She/He should have qualified in the qualifying examination or equivalent with at least five subjects in 12th class such as Language, Mathematics, physics,

Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject/other Subjects.

  • For B.Plan-should have passed the qualifying examination with Mathematics compulsory subjects.
  • For B.Arch-He/she must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
Admission to Courses in IIITs, IITs, CFTIs &NITs through CSAB.
  • She/He should have qualified in the qualifying exam with a minimum of 75% marks. For SC/ST a, minimum of 65% marks needed.
Age limit
  • No age limit
