AIAPGET 2021(Postponed) All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test, Dates, Eligibility, Application
AIAPGET 2021 registrations have been postponed, are yet to be announced. A revised date sheet has to be released, which states that the registration date will be announced later. Applicants who wish to apply for AIAPGET 2021 will have to register online on the official website to fill their applications. The last date to submit the application form of AIAPGET 2021 will also be revised.
All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2021 has been postponed for three months. The examination will be conducted online (computer-based mode). Applicants who submit the applications on time will be issued admit cards online. NTA will announce the results of the entrance test on the website. The result of AIAPGET 2021 will be declared separately for different disciplines.
About AIAPGET :
All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, commonly known as AIAPGET, is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. AIAPGET is conducted once every year in a computer-based mode. Applicants who qualify for the examination can opt for MS, MD, or PG diploma in the above-mentioned disciplines.

AIAPGET 2021 Eligibility Criteria :
NTA has prescribed the eligibility criteria for AIAPGET 2021. Applicants found to be ineligible at any stage will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible applicant appearing and/or qualifying AIAPGET 2021, the result/candidature of such applicant shall be canceled. To be eligible for AIAPGET the following requirements have to be met by an applicant :
- Applicants must possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
- An applicant with a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate (recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities
- He/she must have completed one year of internship or is likely to complete the internship before September 30, 2021
- There is no upper age limit for the applicants appearing for AIAPGET 2021
- NTA has not specified the number of attempts permitted to clear AIAPGET, thus an applicant can take the examination as many times as he/she needs to clear it.

Admission Process/ Selection Process :
For applicants seeking admissions to the postgraduate programs covered under the umbrella of AIAPGET 2021, knowing the admission process is very important. The entire admission process has been summarized below :
- Aspirants of the postgraduate entrance test have to register online on the official website of the AIAPGET. Post-registration, he/she has to fill the AIAPGET application form and pay a non-refundable registration fee.
- Upon successful submission of the application, applicants will be issued the AIAPGET admit cards. These have to be downloaded online.
- After the examination is held successfully, the AIAPET 2021 results will be declared online. A separate list will be released for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and homeopathy. Applicants who qualify for the examination will be eligible to attend the counseling.
- To participate in the AIAPGET 2021 counseling, applicants will have to register on the official portal of MCC. A separate application has to be filled for counseling. MCC will then release a seat allotment list based on the merits of the applicants who have registered on the MCC portal. Selected applicants have to report to the allocated institute with the requisite documents for confirmation of his/her admission.

AIAPGET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines :
What to carry?
- AIAPGET 2021 admit card
- An original, valid, and non-expired photo Id proof (Driving Licence, Aadhar card, passport, voter Id, etc.)
- One passport size photograph (same as the one submitted with the application form)
What not to carry?
- Any textual material, Calculator, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Smartwatch, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, pager,, or any other electronic device.
- Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water, Mobile Phone/ Earphone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets,, etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.
- Applicants who are diabetic can carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/ apple/orange) and transparent water bottles to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwiches, etc.

Who will conduct the AIAPGET 2021?
A. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test. However, NTA’s role is limited to conducting the examination and processing the results. The admission/counseling of NTA is under the supervision of AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).
What is the duration of the examination?
A. The duration of AIAPGET 2021 will be 1 hour and 30 minutes, irrespective of the discipline. The question paper will consist of 100 objective-type questions.
What is the price of AIAPGET 2021 application form?
A. The cost of AIAPGET application form for applicants belonging to the General/Unreserved/ Other Backward Classes category is Rs 2500. However, applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Persons with disability/ Transgender category is Rs 1750.
What is the maximum number of attempts permitted for AIAPGET?
A. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not specified any number for the permitted number of attempts for AIAPGET. Hence, an applicant can appear for AIAPGET as many times as he/ she needs to get the desired course.
